Aquisition and evaluation of data and studies

This action focuses on the acquisition and evaluation of available data and studies in the project area in order to determine the status of the aquifer. Data will be organised into a GIS with a GEO Database that will include a cadastre of the existing wells and an evaluation of the volume abstracted.

The implementation of Action 2 will involve the development of the following activities:

• Elaboration of detailed list specifying all the information needed
• Acquisition of available data and studies and information
• Acquisition of satellite images
• Data analysis evaluation of available data & information
• Review of techniques for artificial recharge

This action will last from +0 months to +9 months and will also carry out a data upgrading by the middle of the project (end of 2010).
