26th october 2010 - Technical Board

The 4th Board discussed: balance model developed by RFVG and University of Trieste for the Region, some work proposal for the model TRUST specific to the studied area and model results relative to climate change.


The 4th Technical Board, set up under the TRUST project, was held in Venice at the River Basin Authority headquarter on October 26, 2010 at 10:00 am.

The board began with a screening of the short shot at thetraveling 1st TRUST workshop, held May 13, 2010.

During the Technical Board was then presented theprogress of the project, and in particular:

  • Dr. geol. Luca Zini from University of Trieste presented methods and preliminary results coming out from the hydrological balance model completed  at the regional scale and realized by the Department of Geosciences (Director Prof. Franco Cucchi - DIGE - University of Trieste) for the Hydraulics Service of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region

  • Dr. geol. Vincenzo Marsala (downloadable presentation at the bottom of the page) from SGI - Studio Galli Spa proposed criteria and methods of implementing the water balance model for the area TRUST (Action in progress)

  • Dr. Alessio Bellucci (downloadable presentation to bottom) from CMCC presented the results produced by the model on climate change

 

 
At the end of each intervention, several suggestions have been acquired and the different methodological aspects andapplications of the studies presented have been discussedin a proactive, interactive and multidisciplinary way, with the cooperation and participation of many stakeholdersincluding technicians (over 30 partecipants).
